AXK - Managing Farm Plots
What is a Farm Plot?
A Farm Plot represents a specific geographic area where commodities are cultivated. Each plot has GPS boundary data, soil information, and a history of planted crops and yields.
Registering a Farm Plot
- Navigate to Farm Management → Farm Plots.
- Click + New Farm Plot.
- Enter the plot name, owner, and geographic coordinates.
- Define the boundary polygon using GPS waypoints.
- Record soil type, elevation, and any relevant notes.
- Submit to add the plot to the network.
Why GPS Data Matters
Precise GPS boundaries are essential for:
- EUDR compliance — proving non-deforestation origin.
- Yield forecasting — satellite imagery analysis requires boundaries.
- Traceability — linking harvests to specific land parcels.
